The Values and Beliefs of Ground of Peace
Gateway Peace Garden in Mt.Shasta
The values at Ground of Peace are the result of passing through real experiences that shape the heart and sharpen the soul.
- Peace came through facing fear and learning to rest in stillness rather than escape.
- Presence was formed in moments of deep listening, where silence became more meaningful than words.
- Simplicity blossoms in quiet strength that removes what is unnecessary so the essential can be seen, felt, and shared.
- Truth arrived through choosing integrity honestly, especially when it included great sacrifice.
- Sincerity was shaped by letting go of roles. Learning to speak and serve without performance.
- Compassion grew in the courage to stay present with suffering without needing to fix or flee. The act of Love rooted free of judgement, rooted in stillness and offered with dignity to every soul.
These values are lived. They are carried in the way we listen, serve, speak, and show up for one another, and for the world.
Our Beliefs
*What we contemplate, we become. What we serve, we strengthen. What we carry in our hearts, we transmit.*
Peace is our Original Nature
Peace is what remains when fear, striving, and false identity dissolve. Every offering at Ground of Peace is a return to this inner stillness that lives beneath the noise of the world.
Every Being can Heal
No one is beyond healing. Whether facing death, imprisonment, addiction, or despair, each life holds the light of the eternal. We serve with this knowledge as mirrors of dignity and compassion.
Love is the Highest Form of Intelligence
Real wisdom is expressed through care. Through Christic awareness, yogic presence, and lived service, we embody love as precise grounded action that restores what has been forgotten.
We believe in embodied spirituality: showing up for the forgotten, kneeling beside grief, standing firm in mercy, and radiating truth in quiet and consistent ways.
